Alice Jamieson Girls' Academy in Stanley Jones School is located in the northeast community of Renfrew. This alternative program is available to any girl in grades 4-9 in Calgary. Students of Alice Jamieson Girls' Academy move on to their community high school.
About the School
The instructional space for Alice Jamieson Girls' Academy is on the second floor of Stanley Jones School. Stanley Jones opened in 1913 and is made of sandstone that was hauled by horse and wagon from the Shaganappi quarry. Spacious classrooms with large windows have been recently upgraded to make this historic building a wonderful site for the Alice Jamieson Girls' Academy.
