School Location
École Banff Trail School is a French Immersion school located in the northwest community of Banff Trail. Banff Trail serves the communities of Banff Trail, Brentwood, Capitol Hill, Charleswood, Collingwood, Dalhousie, Edgemont, Foothills Estates, Hillhurst, Hounsfield Heights/Briar Hill, NorthHill, Parkdale, Point McKay, Rocky Ridge, Rosemont, Royal Oak, St. Andrews Heights, Triwood, University Heights, West Hillhurst, and Westmount. Students from École Banff Trail will attend Branton School and then William Aberhart High School.
About the School
The school was built in 1959 and is situated on 5.78 acres with a large playing field and a creative playground. The school community has created a naturalized area that will be transformed through several phases over the next few years. Currently, the naturalized area has amphitheatre-style seating for classes that is used as an outdoor classroom.
