Briar Hill School is located in the northwest community of Hounsfield Heights/Briar Hill, serving the communities of Hounsfield Heights and Briar Hill. St. Andrew's Heights also has the option to attend Briar Hill. Students from Briar Hill Elementary move to either Branton or Queen Elizabeth Schools for Grades 7 to 9.
About the School
The school was built in 1954 and is situated on 3.675 acres. There are 10 classrooms occupied by our Grade 1 to 6 and special education programs. The school has a library and gymnasium. Briar Hill Elementary School also houses a community-operated kindergarten program, a daycare, a before and after school program, and a playschool. These programs lease space from the CBE.
