School Location

Cambrian Heights School is located in the northwest community of Cambrian Heights, serving the communities of Cambrian Heights, Queen's Park Village, Evanstone, Kincora, and Sage Hill. The children from Evanston, Kincora, and Sage Hill are bussed. Students move from Cambrian Heights to Colonel Irvine School for Grades 7 to 9 and then on to James Fowler High School.

About the School

The school was built in 1957 and extended in 1961 and 1967. The building and a large creative playground, constructed by parents, are pleasantly situated on 3.38 acres adjacent to a large community playing field. The school has 21 classrooms, gymnasium, large library, music room, and science room.Cambrian Heights is a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school with two system Paced Learning programs (PLP I and PLP II).
