Cappy Smart school is located in the northeast community of Marlborough Park. Students move from Cappy Smart to Dr. Gladys McKelvie Egbert or Bob Edwards (French Immersion) for Grades 7 to 9,and then to Forest Lawn High School.

The school was built in 1978 and is situated on 9.0 acres. The school has 10 classrooms and 1 relocatable, library, gymnasium and a music room.

Fri, 05/15/2009 - 04:58 — AnonymousSome teachers for the SKILL program are very worrying, it is scary to see how the children are treated (I actually witnessed one child have their chin grabbed and physically made to LOOK up at the teacher, a child that was non verbal. These are mentally disabled children!Another issue is that the Principle likes to YELL at the children an awful lot. There are NO male teachers at all and a lot of the teachers there seem to be in just out of University and/or in transition.
Pretty poor school..needs a check up!
This school is INCREDIBLE!!! The staff are CARING, and KIND, and CONSIDERATE. Recommend!
