Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School is located in the southwest community of Canyon Meadows. The school's feeder communities are Auburn Bay, Bonavista Downs, Canyon Meadows, Evergreen, Lake Bonavista, Silverado, Southwood, Woodbine and Woodlands.
French Immersion students living in Area V of the Calgary Board of Education are designated to attend Dr. E.P. Scarlett.
Junior High schools that service these same communities and programs, in whole or in part are: Elboya, Fairview, Harold Panabaker, John Ware, Nickle, Robert Warren, Woodman and Willow Park.
About the School
The school was built in 1969 and is situated on 12.34 acres. The school has 64 classrooms, a main gymnasium and an auxiliary, a large text and electronic library facility, and computer labs. A school-wide television broadcast network facilitates daily student produced newscasts.
