F.E. Osborne School is located in the northwest community of Varsity, serving the communities of Hawkwood, Tuscany and Varsity. Elementary feeder schools are Hawkwood, Marion Carson and Varsity Acres. Hawkwood and Varsity community students are designated to Sir Winston Churchill High School. Tuscany community students are designated to Bowness High School.

The school was built in 1967 and is situated on 8.06 acres. The school has 29 classrooms, a gymnasium, a library, 2 computer labs, a music room, an art room, a construction technology facility, a foods and fashion lab, a fitness room and a courtyard. Our technology access includes wireless, LCD technology and both PC and Mac platforms.
